INVITATION TO JOIN PSAG

As Chairman of the Private Sector Advisory Group (PSAG), it is my great pleasure to write today to invite you to join our group. The PSAG brings together international leaders of the private sector whose shared goal is to help developing countries improve their corporate governance. The PSAG and its Task Forces include as members highest level representatives of the private sector from across the globe - from all regions, from developed and developing markets - and from numerous professions, including investors, lawyers, accountants, and journalists.

Please find attached the Terms of Reference that explain the role of the PSAG and the Forum’s Charter.

PSAG provides support to the important work undertaken by the Forum in emerging markets and transition economies. You may be approached by the Forum from time to time to advise or participate in an activity being undertaken by it. Clearly this will depend on your own time and availability and the Forum will always endeavor to be respectful of its demands on PSAG members.

Your agreeing to be part of PSAG is a valuable endorsement of their work and efforts.
We would be honored if you elect to join the PSAG. We have a great number of interesting projects where we will be asking for PSAG involvement. Your own active participation will be most welcome.
